Ingredients
- 2 cups cold heavy whipping cream
- 14-ounce can of sweetened condensed milk
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and lightly mashed
- 1 jar New Canaan Farms Strawberry Almond Jam
Directions
- In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment, combine the heavy cream, sweetened condensed milk, honey, and kosher salt. Beat on high speed until stiff peaks form and the mixture is thick and airy.
- Gently fold in the mashed fresh strawberries, leaving some pieces intact for texture.
- Pour half of the ice cream base into a metal loaf pan and spread evenly. Add dollops of the New Canaan Farms Strawberry Almond Jam across the surface, then layer with the remaining ice cream base.
- Spoon additional small dollops of jam over the top and use a knife to gently swirl, creating ribbons of fruit throughout the ice cream.
- Cover the pan tightly with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 6 hours, or until fully set.
- Let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping. Serve and enjoy.
