Our story
Since 1979, New Canaan Farms has been creating distinctive jams, salsas, spreads and sauces that delight. Our family-owned company handcrafts every batch in Utopia, Texas, combining generous amounts of fruits, vegetables and herbs with a chef-driven approach to flavor.
The Waters family moved New Canaan Farms to Utopia in 2022, bringing fresh ideas to a much-loved Texas brand. Today, our range includes over 60 specialty foods, with Le Cordon Bleu-trained Chef and restauranteur Laurel Waters leading the development of new recipes and beautifully balanced flavor combinations.
We make food for sharing: an easy appetizer when friends drop by, something special for a cheese board, a shortcut to a great meal, or a gift worth giving.

Our kitchen is located in the historic water plant where pure spring water was once bottled for Texans to enjoy.
Our entire range is available at our company store at 941 Main Street, where we are open Tuesday – Friday, 9am-3pm. Come say hello and browse the collection, we’d love to see you!
