Lemon Fig & Prosciutto Pizza
Our Lemon Fig Jam pairs beautifully with deeply caramelized onions, creamy mozzarella, and salty prosciutto. Add fresh arugula, goat cheese, and a little balsamic glaze after it comes out of the oven, and you have a pizza that feels special without making dinner complicated. It’s one we’d happily put in the middle of the table and let everyone help themselves.
Serves: 3-4
Prep Time: 10-15 minutes
Cook Time: 15–20 minute
Ingredients
- 1 lb. pizza dough, store-bought or homemade
- ½ cup New Canaan Farms Lemon Fig Jam
- 1 cup caramelized onions
- 12 oz. fresh mozzarella, shredded
- 3½ oz. prosciutto
- 2 cups fresh arugula
- ¼ cup goat cheese, crumbled
- Balsamic glaze, for drizzling
Serve With: A simple green salad and a crisp white wine
Directions
- Preheat the oven according to your pizza crust instructions. If your crust calls for par-baking, prepare it according to the package directions.
- Spread a thin layer of New Canaan Farms Lemon Fig Jam over the crust, leaving a little room around the edge.
- Scatter the caramelized onions over the jam, then top with the shredded mozzarella.
- Bake according to your crust instructions, until the cheese is bubbling and the edges are golden and cooked through.
- Let the pizza cool for a minute or two, then slice. Top with prosciutto, fresh arugula, and crumbled goat cheese.
- Finish with a drizzle of balsamic glaze and serve warm.
Make it your own: Try swapping the prosciutto for thinly sliced ham, or leave the meat off altogether and add toasted pecans for a little extra crunch.
