What's on Gerry's Summer Table
Everyone has their favorites. The flavors they reach for without thinking. The jars they always keep stocked. The go to’s they recommend before anyone even asks.
When we asked Gerry to narrow down her top five New Canaan Farms products for the summer, she had a hard time choosing. But these are the flavors that consistently make their way onto her table, whether she is hosting her family and friends, grilling out in the Hill Country, putting together a charcuterie board, or bringing something special to a gathering.
Here are Gerry's picks for summer.

This one never lasts long. With generous chunks of peach and just the right amount of heat, Peach Salsa is one of those products that surprises people in the best way.
This jar is sweet, savory, and endlessly snackable, and…it's often gone before the main meal even begins!

If summer had a signature flavor, this might be it. Bright, fresh, and versatile, Ginger Citrus Sauce works as a marinade, dressing, dipping sauce, or finishing touch. It's especially good with grilled chicken, seafood, and vegetables from the garden.
This is one of the flavors that helps make summer cooking feel effortless yet still delicious!

Sun-Dried Tomato & Basil Mustard
This is one of those jars that sparks conversation. Made with real sun-dried tomatoes and basil, it brings bold flavor to sandwiches, charcuterie boards, dressings, and marinades.
It’s rich, savory, and unmistakably summer, and one of Gerry's favorite ways to add something unexpected to the table.

A summer grilling staple. Our Wood Fired Steak Rub delivers big flavor with very little effort. All you need to do is season your steak generously, fire up the grill, and let The rub do its job so you can do yours!
That's exactly how summer cooking should be, relaxed, effortless, and enjoyable!

Dessert doesn't have to be a project. Our cherry preserves are packed with whole cherries and a rich syrup that is equally good over vanilla ice cream or tucked onto a cheese board between courses.
Set it on the table and let people find their favorite way to enjoy it. A good way to end an evening without overthinking it.
Gerry's Summer Short List
Summer meals don't need to be complicated. Good food, good company, and a few favorite flavors are often all it takes.
These are the five jars Gerry reaches for again and again, and if you're looking for a place to start this season, they're a pretty good bet. Cheers!
