Questions

What does Zesty Citrus & Herb Blend taste like?
It combines bright citrus character with savory herbs, making it a good choice when a dish needs freshness rather than smoke, sweetness or heavy heat.
What foods pair with Zesty Citrus & Herb Blend?
Chicken, fish, shrimp, potatoes and vegetables are all natural matches, and it can also brighten simple rice or pasta dishes.
Can I use Zesty Citrus & Herb Blend in a dressing?
Yes. Whisk it into olive oil and your preferred acidic ingredient for a quick lemon-herb dressing or marinade.
What's the difference between your dip mixes, rubs, seasonings, salts, and sugars?
They are designed for different jobs in the kitchen. Dip mixes are used to create easy appetizers, and add seasoning boosts to products. Our rubs tend to be rubbed on meats before grilling and searing. Our meal enhancements deliver quick and delicious seasoning solutions to get a great meal on the table, fast. Seasoned salts and sugars are great for enhancing cocktails and mocktails, and for finishing off meals with a pinch of flavor.
Which spice blends should I use for grilling?
Look to the grilling and savory seasoning side of the collection, including Wood-Fired Steak Rub, Southwest Chipotle Rub, Chuckwagon Coffee & Chile Rub, Fuego, and Honey Habanero Rub. Each gives you a grab-and-go flavor profile that's been tried and tested by a host of happy diners.
What can I make with the dip and seasoning blends besides dip?

Yes, all of our spice blends are great for non-meat applications, and our product pages have a host of great ways we and our customers have used them to create delicious vegetarian meals.
How should I store herb and spice blends?
Keep dry herb and spice blends sealed and stored in a cool, dry place away from moisture and excessive heat. All of our spice blends have an unopened shelf life of 2 years.
How long do herb and spice blends stay fresh?
Check the best-by information on the individual package. Dry blends can lose aroma and flavor over time even when they remain dry, so proper sealed storage helps preserve their quality.

Yes.
Is your herb and spice blend facility nut-free?
Yes. Our herb and spice blends are made in a completely separate, sealed-off, nut-free area, a long way from our kitchen.
