Jalapeño Queso Dip
Creamy, cheesy, and with a little kick, this Jalapeño Queso Dip is the perfect addition to any gathering. Made with New Canaan Farms Sweet & Hot Jalapeños, this smooth and flavorful queso brings together rich melted cheese with a sweet and spicy finish. Serve it warm with tortilla chips for game days, family gatherings, or anytime you’re craving a little something extra.

Ingredients
- 12 oz. evaporated milk
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- ½ tsp. onion powder
- ¼/–½ tsp. garlic powder, to taste
- ½ tsp. kosher salt, more or less to taste
- 8 oz. shredded pepper jack cheese, freshly shredded
- ¼ cup New Canaan Farms Sweet & Hot Jalapeños, finely chopped
- Fresh cilantro, optional, for garnish
Serve With: Tortilla chips, fresh vegetables, or warm flour tortillas for dipping.
Directions
- In a medium saucepan over medium-low heat, whisk together the evaporated milk, cornstarch, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt until smooth and combined.
- Bring the mixture to a light simmer, stirring frequently, for 1–2 minutes. Avoid boiling to keep the queso smooth and creamy.
- Reduce the heat to low and gradually add the shredded pepper jack cheese, stirring continuously until each addition is fully melted and the queso is smooth.
- Stir in the chopped New Canaan Farms Sweet & Hot Jalapeños. Transfer to a serving bowl and top with extra jalapeños, salsa, or fresh cilantro if desired. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
