Whipped Ricotta with Peach Jam

Blended until airy and smooth, the ricotta becomes the perfect base for spoonfuls of peach jam, toasted nuts, fresh herbs, and a drizzle of honey or olive oil. Elegant enough for entertaining yet simple enough for an everyday snack, it’s the kind of appetizer that feels relaxed, beautiful, and effortless all at once.

Ingredients
- 1½ cups whole milk ricotta, drained if needed
- ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
- ⅓ cup New Canaan Farms Fredericksburg Peach Jam
- 2 tablespoons toasted pistachios or pecans, roughly chopped
- Fresh thyme leaves or basil ribbons, for garnish
- Olive oil or honey, for finishing
Serve With: Warm crostini, seeded crackers, sliced peaches, fresh berries, or as part of a summer grazing board.
Directions
- Add the ricotta and kosher salt to the bowl of a food processor. Blend for 1–2 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed, until the ricotta becomes smooth, airy, and light.
- Spoon the whipped ricotta into a shallow serving bowl and gently spread with the back of a spoon to create soft swirls.
- Top with generous spoonfuls of Fredericksburg Peach Jam, allowing the jam to ripple naturally through the ricotta.
- Finish with a light drizzle of olive oil or honey, then sprinkle with toasted pistachios and fresh herbs.
- Serve immediately with crostini, crackers, or fresh fruit alongside.
Storage Tip: Store leftover whipped ricotta covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Add jam and toppings just before serving for the best texture and presentation.
