Peachy Pecan Appetizer
Warm, melty cheese, sweet salsa, and toasted pecans — it doesn’t get much better than this. This easy appetizer is always a hit at parties and family gatherings, and it comes together in just minutes. The goat cheese and cream cheese make it creamy, while the peach salsa adds a little brightness and the pecans bring in that nutty crunch. Simple, irresistible, and perfect for scooping up with chips or crackers.

Ingredients
· ¼ cup chopped pecans
· 1 log soft goat cheese (4 oz)
· 3 oz cream cheese, softened
· 1 cup New Canaan Farms Peach Salsa
· Fresh cilantro or chopped peaches, to garnish
Serve With: Warm pita triangles, crackers, or tortilla chips
Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (a toaster oven works too).
2. In a small frying pan, toast pecans (with or without oil), stirring often until fragrant. Remove to a bowl to cool.
3. Mix goat cheese and cream cheese together until smooth. Stir in pecans.
4. Spoon cheese mixture into a small baking dish. Spoon salsa around and over the top.
5. Bake for 10–15 minutes, until warmed through. Garnish with cilantro or peaches and serve with pita, crackers, or chips.
