Healthy Oven-Baked Oats
Warm, simple, and full of flavor, this baked oatmeal brings together wholesome pantry staples and a swirl of our Natural Strawberry Jam for a bright, fruit-forward breakfast. The oats bake to a tender, lightly golden finish with pockets of jam that make every slice something to look forward to. Enjoy it straight from the oven or make it ahead for easy mornings throughout the week.

Ingredients
- Butter, for greasing
- 3 Tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 2 c. milk (dairy or non-dairy)
- 1 large egg
- ¼ c. lightly packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp maple syrup or honey, plus more for serving
- 1½ tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups old-fashioned oats
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- ½ c. New Canaan Farms Natural Strawberry Jam
- 1 c. fresh berries or diced banana, or ½ cup dried fruit (optional)
- ½ c. toasted nuts, pumpkin seeds, or coconut flakes (optional)
Serve With: Fresh berries, yogurt, maple syrup, or an extra spoonful of jam.
Directions
- Heat the oven to 350°F and lightly butter an 8x8-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, brown sugar, maple syrup, melted butter, and vanilla.
- Add the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Warm the Natural Strawberry Jam slightly if desired, then spoon small dollops across the top and gently swirl with a knife.
- Sprinkle fruit or nuts over the surface, if using.
- Bake, uncovered, for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup.
Storage Tip: Cover and refrigerate for up to 5 days. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 15–20 minutes or microwave individual portions for 30–60 seconds.
