Chocolate Cherry Chiffon Pie
This pie is almost too easy for how good it tastes. Light, creamy, and full of rich chocolate and cherry flavor, it’s one of those desserts you’ll want to save for gatherings, otherwise you might just eat the whole thing yourself. Perfect for parties, holidays, or whenever you need a quick showstopper.

Ingredients
· 1 jar New Canaan Farms Cherry Preserves
· 1 box instant chocolate pudding (5.85 oz)
· 1 pint heavy whipping cream
· 1 sheet shortcrust pastry, or a pre-prepared pie crust
· Chocolate shavings, to garnish
Serve With: Fresh cream or berries
Directions
1. If using pastry, cut and fit to your dish, and bake according to package directions. Do the same if your prepared crust requires baking.
2. In a bowl, mix the cherry preserves with the packet of chocolate pudding mix.
3. Using an electric mixer, slowly add the whipping cream while beating until stiff peaks form.
4. Pour the filling into the cooled pie crust and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.
5. Garnish with chocolate shavings, fresh fruit, and an extra spoonful of cream if you like.
