7 Layer Taco Dip

7 Layer Taco Dip

We’ve been making this one for years, and it never lasts long. It’s got all the Tex-Mex flavors we love layered up in one dish, and it’s about as easy as it gets. Perfect for game days, casual suppers, or when friends drop by. Just set it out with a bowl of tortilla chips and watch it disappear.

Ingredients

·         1 (16 oz) can refried beans

·         1 packet taco seasoning mix

·         8 oz cream cheese, softened

·         1 cup sour cream

·         1 cup guacamole (store-bought or homemade)

·         1 cup New Canaan Farms Cilantro Salsa

·         1 cup shredded Cheddar or Mexican blend cheese

·         1 medium tomato, diced

·         1½ cups shredded lettuce

·         1 (2.25 oz) can sliced black olives, drained

Serve With: Tortilla chips

Directions

1.      In a bowl, stir together the refried beans and taco seasoning until combined. Spread evenly into the bottom of a 9x13-inch dish or serving platter.

2.      In another bowl, mix the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Spread gently over the beans.

3.      Spoon guacamole on top and smooth with the back of a spoon.

4.      Spread salsa evenly over the guacamole layer.

5.      Add the diced tomatoes, followed by shredded cheese and black olives.

6.      Finish with a light layer of shredded lettuce for added crunch.

7.      Serve immediately or cover and chill for 30 minutes before serving.
