Peachy Pecan Appetizer

A very easy and beautifully flavored tart, this blends goats cheese and prosciutto with our New Canaan Farms Lemon Fig jam. Pretty much perfect for any time of day!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 log of soft goat’s cheese (4oz)
  • 3oz package of cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup New Canaan Farms Peach Salsa
  • Fresh cilantro or chopped peaches, to garnish

SERVE WITH:
Warm pita triangles, crackers or tortilla chips

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350° (you can use a toaster oven for this)
  • Gently toast the pecans in a small frying pan – you can do this dry or add a little oil, but keep an eye on them – they can burn quickly! Remove to a bowl to cool
  • Combine the cheeses, then stir in the nuts
  • Spoon mixture into a small attractive baking dish and spoon the salsa around and on top of the cheese
  • Garnish and serve immediately with crackers, chips or bread of your choice

We do not accept returns of product we have shipped. However, we have a limited 15-day refund policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a refund or exchange if the product we shipped to you is defective, damaged or not what was ordered. Please note that refund requests will need to include a description of the defective product with photos.

We will notify you once we’ve received your refund request and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please get in touch with us so that we can help you find out what’s going on

Shipping & Refunds

For orders over $60, we offer free ground shipping to a single delivery physical address in the contiguous United States (shipping to PO Boxes incurs a $5 surcharge). For all shipping, we use the best solution available for your address, and get your order out as fast as we can. We will never take longer than 3 business days to process your order and prepare it for shipment, and if you pay the premium for overnight shipment we strive (but do not guarantee) to prepare it and put it in the carrier’s hands within 24 hours. Very occasionally, we may experience delays due to supply chain constraints or other forces beyond our control. If we are not able to ship your order within five days of receipt, we will contact you to explain the timeline and offer you a refund if you prefer. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold individual orders for future ship dates.

We also provide the ability to break your order into multiple shipments and enter individual shipping addresses for those.  Please note that the free shipping offer applies to each individual address, so you would need to spend more than the minimum in each separate shipment to qualify for free shipping.
