Ingredients
1 cup apple cider
2 tsp unsalted butter, softened
2 tbsp brown sugar
¼ cup New Canaan Farms Apple Butter
½ cup dark rum
1 crisp apple and cinnamon sticks to garnish
Serve with
Canapés or a cheese plate
Directions
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together the apple cider, butter, apple butter and brown sugar
- Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, whisking continuously, until the butter is melted and the sugar dissolved
- Remove from the heat and stir in the rum
- Share between 2 glasses or mugs and garnish with apple slices and cinnamon sticks. Serve warm with canapés and cheese
