Lemon Fig, Prosciutto and Goats Cheese Tart

A very easy and beautifully flavored tart, this blends goats cheese and prosciutto with our New Canaan Farms Lemon Fig jam. Pretty much perfect for any time of day!


  • 5 ounces (1 cup) soft goat’ s cheese 
  • ½ jar New Canaan Farms Fig & Lemon Jam 
  • 5-6 slices prosciutto
  • 5 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, with flour for dusting
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • A few sprigs of lightly chopped rosemary
  • Ground pepper, to taste

Cherry tomatoes and a crisp green salad


  • Preheat oven to 450°F
  • Flour your surface and roll pastry out to fit a 9” metal tart pan with a removable base
  • Spray your pan very lightly with cooking spray, or brush with butter, then gently lay over your pastry sheet and press to fit dish
  • Spread New Canaan Farms Fig & Lemon jam on the base of the pan, then cover with overlapping layers of prosciutto
  • Blend the goats cheese and cream with a fork, then lightly dot on top of the prosciutto and spread with a knife or fork
  • Sprinkle lemon zest on top, along with the rosemary and pepper to taste
  • Bake for 13 – 15 minutes, turning the pan halfway through. Remove when the tart edges are puffy and golden brown Cut tart into slices and serve warm!
  • Serve with a crisp green salad and cherry tomatoes

We do not accept returns of product we have shipped. However, we have a limited 15-day refund policy, which means you have 15 days after receiving your item to request a refund or exchange if the product we shipped to you is defective, damaged or not what was ordered. Please note that refund requests will need to include a description of the defective product with photos.

We will notify you once we’ve received your refund request and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please get in touch with us so that we can help you find out what’s going on

Shipping & Refunds

For orders over $60, we offer free ground shipping to a single delivery physical address in the contiguous United States (shipping to PO Boxes incurs a $5 surcharge). For all shipping, we use the best solution available for your address, and get your order out as fast as we can. We will never take longer than 3 business days to process your order and prepare it for shipment, and if you pay the premium for overnight shipment we strive (but do not guarantee) to prepare it and put it in the carrier’s hands within 24 hours. Very occasionally, we may experience delays due to supply chain constraints or other forces beyond our control. If we are not able to ship your order within five days of receipt, we will contact you to explain the timeline and offer you a refund if you prefer. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold individual orders for future ship dates.

We also provide the ability to break your order into multiple shipments and enter individual shipping addresses for those.  Please note that the free shipping offer applies to each individual address, so you would need to spend more than the minimum in each separate shipment to qualify for free shipping.
